Apparentemente distante ed estranea, la California, luogo di innovazione, trasgressione, multiculturalità e culla di molti american dreams; condivide più di quanto possa sembrare all’apparenza con la ridente, incontaminata, rurale e pietra allo stato grezzo Maremma Toscana. La poliedricità dei territori, il continuo cambiamento di scena, la policromia mutevole dei paesaggi e la vitalità degli abitanti, fanno sì che queste due realtà creino uno spirito, riflesso nel lavoro degli artisti che sono stati cresciuti, ammaliati e rapiti dal fascino di queste terre di luci. L’incontro di opere che provengono da questi due mondi vuole creare una sinergia nei lavori degli artisti, creando un filo conduttore transcontinentale, un racconto lungo migliaia di chilometri.

 

Outwardly distant and extraneous, California, place of innovation, transgression, cultural diversity and cradle of numerous American Dreams, shares more than one could think with the joyful, uncontaminated, rural and diamond in the rough Tuscan Maremma. The polyhedricity of the territories, the continuous changing of scene, the protean polychromy of the landscapes and the vitality of the locals, enable these two realities to create one spirit, mirrored in the work the artists that were grown-up, charmed and held spellbound by the fascination of these lands of lights. The encounter of the works of art which come from these two worlds wants to create a synergy among the artists, creating a transcontinental thread, a tale long thousands of miles
